The Columbarium At St. Peter’s
“May their souls, and the souls of all the departed,
Through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace.”
The Columbarium at Saint Peter’s at Ellicott Mills is behind the Altar in the church. The Columbarium is accessed in the hallway behind the altar. Interment in The Columbarium is open to anyone at no cost. We ask that the cremains be contained in what is often called “the budget urn,” (a black plastic box that looks much like a video cassette box).
Arrangements may be made by calling the office at 410-465-2273 – ask to speak to a priest of the parish. It is a comfort for many to know that their loved ones are interred in the altar in the church and are in communion with all those present at each celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
